The company manufacture critical components for torque transmission equipment used in drivetrain applications within Naval & Marine Propulsion, Oil & Gas, Mineral Extraction, Mass Transit and Metal Processing Sectors.
Role
- To support the Naval Business Director with all elements of project execution which includes project engineering, customer liaison, project purchasing, expediting, production engineering & testing.
- The role will require the ability to undertake deliverables for multiple projects and embrace accountability for ensuring that work is executed to agreed contractual obligations.
- Create and track activities against project plan, continually updating the plans and identifying risk areas to develop contingency plans to address risk mitigation.
- Liaise with the project team to ensure that the specifications and commercial requirements are clearly understood and timeframes are met.
- Prepare monthly contract cost-to-date and forecast, along with interface with Finance Dept. ensuring milestones are invoiced in a timely manner
You
- Should be familiar with product design and test principles and comfortable with adherence to project milestones and all that entails.
- Naturally meticulous to ensure all internal documentation & drawings are correct and fit for purpose – Document Controller experience would be a distinct advantage
- Fully conversant with project management tools, data capture and maintenance thereof
- Accomplished communicator acting as the focal point for liaison with the Customer
