SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Division are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work for our client based in Keighley on a permanent basis.

Role Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide electrical and mechanical maintenance to a range of machinery including shrink wrappers, conveyors, generators, chillers and bottling machinery
  • Reacting to urgent breakdowns reducing machine down time to a minimum
  • Electrical repairs to motors, drivers, inverters, encoders, boards, wiring, switches, relays, contractors, sensors
  • PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults- Recording and commissioning all fault findings
  • ·Assisting with projects and the installation of the new plant- communicating
  • Effectively with the engineering manager
  • Assisting the developing and implementing line improvements, new installations, office repairs
  • Planned maintenance and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the engineering manager
  • Must be prepared to work across two sites in Keighley and Grassington

Essential Experience Required

  • Relevant Apprentice training or relevant qualifications
  • Electronics/ PLC
  • Pneumatics
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Mig Tig welding
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Fault finding and maintenance experience
  • Experience in the food and drinks manufacturing industry

Core hours of 48 hours per week, based around 5 days per week, Monday - Saturday.

Salary: £17.50 per hour, £43,680 per annum,  plus company pension
