Design Tech & Food Tech Teacher

A Teacher of Design Technology and Food Technology is needed for a part time, long term and ongoing role in an excellent secondary school in the Newcastle area, to start September 2024. The school is large and has superb facilities. The role would involve teaching to KS3 and some KS2 children a mixture of Reistent Matierials and Food Technology and it is anticipated that this would be 4 days a week.
The ideal Design Technology & Food Technology Teacher candidate would have:
- Good classroom management skills
- A passion for Design Technology and Food Technology teaching
- Be able to organise themselves
- Be able to plan effective, engaging Design Technology and Food Technology lessons.
We are keen to hear from experienced teachers or equally ECTs. You must be able to deliver your subject at a high standard up to GCSE level and A level standards.
