Regional Support Worker 
Southampton 
£11.33 – 13.91 per hour
Permanent 

We are recruiting for a Regional Support Worker to help care for people in their own homes across the Southampton area, who have a variety of complex needs including Spinal Injury, Brain Injury & Mental health so experience working in a similar environment is crucial. 

You will join an inclusive, supportive team of Support Workers that works well together, to provide care to people with brain injuries. This can be challenging at times, so a positive attitude, empathy and emotional resilience are essential. 

You must be flexible because weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are a must!
Key Responsibilities
  • Support with medication
  • Clinical elements including PEG feeding, cough assist and using equipment such as hoists.
  • Personal care requirements including showering, incontinence needs, or getting ready for the day.
  • Strong companionship which includes accompanying the service users with outings, attending appointments/activities and completing daily errands 
  • Grocery shopping and meal preparation

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Live by our group values – Compassionate Accountable Respectful Empowering
  • Worked as a carer/in healthcare previously in the UK
  • Experience working with Brain & Spinal Injuries
  • Experience working closely with families of the supported (Preferred)
  • Full UK driver’s license + own vehicle is MANDATORY to be considered for this role.
