About the role:

Join Balfour Beatty VINCI for an exciting 8 week paid Summer Placement stating in July 2024.

What you'll be doing:

As a Summer placement working on HS2, this is a unique opportunity to support your current studies at University and give you invaluable experience working on a Major Project. BBV intends to attract the best people to join our high performing teams and looking for individuals who want to be part of something extraordinary.

You will be working in conjunction with our Joint Venture parent company IT teams and selected third parties to stay current with the Microsoft Office365 Power Tools and related Office365 products, work within existing processes to suggest best usage of these tools/products and then to help with the delivery and subsequent support of any resulting processes.

As part of your placement you could be involved in:

  • Design workshops for process automation.
  • Creating/updating process flows to support automation requests Support BBV Office 365 environment. and applications in conjunction with 3rd party Office 365 provider.
  • Provide triage for system incidents and requests and liaise with relevant support.
  • Design, development and support of Office365 based solutions.
  • Interfacing with data held in the DataLake and associated reporting environments.

Who we're looking for:

Enthusiastic and motivated individuals currently studying in their 1st or 2nd Year of their degree programme and available for 8 weeks from 1 July 2024. Prioritisation will be given to candidates studying at a Midlands-based University or who are permanent residents within the area
