Spanish Language Assistant – The Role:

The Modern Languages department wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, well-organised and engaging fluent Spanish Language Assistant to teach motivated Fifth Years (National Curriculum Year 11) and Sixth formers.  This opportunity is available for the academic year 2024/25 or on a permanent basis.

Spanish Language Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

- Work to develop pupils’ spoken Spanish skills and appreciation of Hispanic cultures

- Play an integral role in their preparation for public examinations

- Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for the subject

- Strive to inspire and motivate our pupils

- Play an important role in promoting Spanish across the School

Spanish Language Assistant – You:

- Educated to degree level

- High level of fluency in Spanish

- Genuine enthusiasm for the subject

- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils

- Good knowledge and experience of Hispanic cultures

- Display commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion

- Displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people

- Values and respects the views and needs of children and young people
