£30,000 - £40,000/annum Depending on experience

Buildings Acoustic Consultant

Our clients provide a range of services, including assistance with Planning Applications, Pre-Application Submissions, Planning Appeals, Master planning, discharging of Planning Conditions, BREEAM Assessments, advice to address Planning Objections, and chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Their projects mainly focus on noise, air quality, and daylight. They are currently seeking an experienced acoustic consultant with expertise in Building Acoustics for residential, commercial, and industrial scale projects, including new developments and refurbishments.

Requirements:

  • BSc and/or MSc in Acoustics or a related field with membership in the IOA.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in building acoustics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Adoption of innovative problem-solving and best practice workplace practices to prioritize company integrity.
  • Conducting background noise surveys and predictions to create noise chapters for EIA and other supporting materials.
  • Experience working at all stages of a project's lifecycle.
  • Working closely with all stakeholders to ensure successful and smooth project delivery.
