WB Employment's Client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Production Programmer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying programs in accordance with technical drawings and procedures, utilizing company tools. You will work closely with the Sales Department to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Hours:
08:00am - 05:00pm (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

Experience:
Previous experience in programming CNC machines and familiarity with CAD software is advantageous. However, full training will be provided for candidates with no prior experience, and salary will be reflective of this.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop CNC machine programs for manufacturing purposes using designated software.
  • Utilize basic 2D CAD skills to verify NC files, checking dimensions and geometry.
  • Interpret and comprehend engineering drawings, confirming program components from customer drawings, including manual programming as necessary.
  • Manage the scheduling of CNC machines and monitor progress throughout the day until job completion.
  • Provide quotations for sections/fittings and estimate lead times as appropriate.
  • Collaborate effectively with other production staff.
  • Monitor batch numbers for test certifications and traceability purposes.
  • Coordinate with the Sales department regarding cutting times to ensure timely customer delivery.
  • Supply drawings for review to confirm machine accuracy.
  • Confirm completion of cutting tickets.
  • Maintain accurate records and appropriately file all correspondence.
  • Liaise with the Purchasing department regarding non-stock requirements.
  • Attend all required training courses.
