CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT – ROUTE TO PARTNERSHIP – UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY 

My client based on the South Coast is seeking an experienced, energetic, client-facing, qualified Accountant to join him as a right hand as the business continues to grow. 

For this career and life defining opportunity, we are seeking not just a qualified and experienced Accountant, but someone able to business-build with the capability and commitment necessary to inherit the keys to the kingdom over the next five to ten years. 

We are seeking someone with vigour, entrepreneurial energy and a real hunger to build the client book, with the intention of writing their own cheque in terms of yearly earnings. 

You will most probably be working already for a chartered firm in and around the South coast, itching to step out from a larger bureaucracy and take control of your career and earning potential within an environment which allows for autonomy and growth. 

Personality here is key – we are seeking candidates that are confident, client facing and able to win business, as well as having outstanding accounting fundamentals. 

Learning from a clearly successful multiple practice owner, you will work closely together on further developing the business and bring with you ACA/ACCA qualifications, significant practice/advisory experience of at least seven to eight years and leadership capability. 

Starting salary for this role is open, but we are probably looking at a lower base with a significant upside for business and client development bonuses to round off an annual salary that can be extremely lucrative for those with a hunter/gatherer mentality.  

The package can be structured so that the right person will be incentivised to build both in the short term and for the future. 

Later down the track the opportunity will exist to purchase equity in the business.
