A professional property and construction consultancy is actively seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their Sheffield team.
The Senior Building Surveyors' role
This position offers the successful Senior Building Surveyor the opportunity to support an expanding project portfolio, initially focusing on refurbishment projects within the higher education sector.
These projects, ranging in value from £100k to £3m, include office, laboratory, and student accommodation schemes.
The main responsibilities of the Senior Building Surveyor will include design, specification, and contract administration duties, with a predominant focus on project work rather than professional services.
This role is ideal for a Senior Building Surveyor looking to develop their expertise within a project-focused environment, supported by a collaborative and dynamic team.
The Senior Building Surveyor
- A BSc or MSc in Building Surveying
- MRICS qualification is preferred
- Strong background in managing refurbishment projects, ideally within the higher education sector
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
