CNC Miller - Programmer, Setter, Operator

NCS are looking for a CNC Miller to join a thriving team of engineers in Bradford. The company have been in business now for over half a century and are continuing to grow their order book. 

In this role you are required to Program, set and operate HAAS Mills using Fanuc controls to produce components to fine tolerances. If you have experience using other software we would still like to hear from you. 

Responsibilities:

- Program HAAS CNC's using Fanuc on a variety of components for sub contractors

- Set up and prepare mills for production, including tooling, fixtures and alignment

- Configure work to be as efficient and accurate as possible

- Conducting in-process inspections, experience using manual/digital measuring equipment is desired

- Troubleshoot machining issues to best avoid downtime

- Work safely and as part of a team to complete projects OTIF


Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Miller Programmer, Setter, Operator using Fanuc or similar software

- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and tolerances

- Good understanding of machining process, cutting tools and work holding

- Problem solving skills and attention to detail

- Able to work in a face paced environment to deadlines

- Willing to work overtime where needed (1.5x O.T Pay)


Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday (38 hrs)
08:00 - 18:00 

Friday & Saturday (Overtime paid at 1.5x)
