Job Title: Admin Assistant

Duration: 3 months, extensions likely

Location: Plymouth/Hybrid (first month fully office based, 2 days per week in the office after)

Salary: £15.00 per hour PAYE

Our client in the utilities industry is seeking a motivated Admin Assistant to join their team on a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation and gain valuable experience in the utilities sector.

As an Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our client's team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring Jira on a regular basis, identifying high priority issues and ensuring tickets are appropriately addressed by the relevant teams.
  • Managing phone calls and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks within different departments, such as further details checks, system access, archiving authorisations, and closing off timesheets.
  • Collaborating with Connections Strategy and other teams to resolve tickets related to estimating and charging.
  • Liaising with e5 Support for approval limits and fieldwork errors.
  • Updating the status of work instructions and ensuring timely completion.

To succeed in this role, you should have exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are also essential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using Jira or similar ticketing systems.
  • Proficiency in using Share Point.
  • Previous data entry experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
