Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Integration Manager to join our passionate and driven team based in Ipswich 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll professional to join our team. The Payroll Integration Manager will be responsible for leading the integration of payroll systems and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll operations, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the Payroll Integration Manager will serve as the lead on future acquisitions, overseeing the integration of payroll systems and processes for newly acquired entities while ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of payroll systems, ensuring seamless transition and accuracy of data while complying with UK legislation.
  • Working within the payroll management team you will coordinate project timelines and resource to meet project milestones and objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal and IT departments to identify requirements and streamline processes to ensure the delivery of an efficient and quality service.
  • Identify and facilitate training sessions for end-users to ensure successful adoption of new payroll systems and processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for payroll integration issues, working closely with teams to resolve.
  • Stay updated on UK payroll regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations in all integration efforts.
  • Support with internal and external audit and reporting requirements.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) qualified or equivalent payroll experience.
  • Expert knowledge of UK Payroll Legislation, with intermediate use of Microsoft Office and experience of Payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of MHR iTrent desirable.
  • Exceptional knowledge of the end to end payroll delivery, pensions and benefits, to include HMRC requirements for Pay As You Earn (PAYE).
  • Experience of handling complex and challenging situations in addition to being able to influence and negotiate at senior management level.
  • Proven and demonstrable success at driving process and procedural change initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Experience of supporting implementation of system changes.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise workload and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Decision making that takes accountability of policy, legislation and the wider team deliverables.
