Are you an enthusiastic, talented Design Systems Manager passionate about innovation and design who specialises in Tekla Design Software?

Our client, part of a billion euro global group, is seeking a motivated and experienced Design Systems Manager for their office in Durham. This role is ideal for a Design Systems Manager eager to train and support a strong engineering team in the implementation of Tekla.


Key Responsibilities for the Design Systems Manager

• Implementation of Trimble Tekla Structures.
• Creation and management of the implementation plan including initial set-up, automation of modelling and production information, and user training.
• Working with the vendor to develop, test, implement and refine new facilities.
• Act as a subject matter expert.
• Development/amendment of new processes that support the adoption and sustained use of the system.
• Identification, selection, and implementation of systems that further improve the departments capabilities and efficiencies.

Key requirements for the successful Design Systems Manager

• Structural/Mechanical Engineering qualified with several years’ experience in industry.
• Extensive experience with Tekla Structures (or similar).
• Experience of software systems implementation.
• Well-connected within the industry.
• Motivated, Curious, Analytical, Organised and Collaborative.
• Practical approach to real world problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
