Energy and Sustainability Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join one of the UK's largest multidisciplined consultancies who provide a progressive and innovative approach to the built environment. The successful candidate will join their energy team in Sale, Manchester and will be provided endless support and opportunities for career progression.

Role responsibilities include:

• Take the lead on delivering a range of services such as general energy and sustainability consultancy, statements, and strategies
• Produce Decarbonisation strategies and reports, as well as generating energy performance certificates and ESOS reports for energy compliance
• Provide funding advice and applications, whilst developing heat decarbonisation plans and feasibility studies
• Carry out general project management and contract administration tasks for energy projects

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree within a surveying, environmental, sustainability or building services discipline
• Previous experience carrying out energy audits, as well as having a relevant accreditation such as NDEA, DEA, Low Carbon Consultant or ESOS assessor
• Either working towards or have already achieved a CIBSE membership
• Previous experience in a client facing role, with great commercial knowledge and can obtain new business
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
